Mystic Point is another one of Hong Kong Disneyland’s unique areas, and easily my favorite. Not to say that the others are bad, but this one is just so good.
Mystic Point’s main attraction is Mystic Manor, home of explorer Lord Henry Mystic and his monkey companion Albert.
Lord Henry has opened his home to tours for visitors, showing off his collection of artifacts from around the globe.
His newest aquisition is a music box, and legend says that its song has magic powers. It also happens to be something Albert has interest in playing with despite Lord Henry insisting that he doesn’t. He does, of course, so things become magical and visitors get an interesting tour of the house with Albert as he tries to put things back to normal.
Mystic Manor is my favorite Disney ride in the world. I love the story, the music is fantastic, and I felt immersed every time I rode it. I wish Lord Henry and Albert were in more media, though. I’d totally watch Mystic Adventures with Albert. But until then I’ll just have to revisit the adventurers at their home in Mystic Point.
